Thank You
For several years, we had been praying for a vehicle that would better meet the needs of our ministry. We were especially hoping for a 7–9-passenger vehicle. We had mentioned this need before, but recently the prices of such vehicles have risen significantly, and it became clear that purchasing one was beyond our means.
In the meantime, our previous car was already in very poor condition. When someone showed interest in buying it, it turned out that the car could still be useful to someone else. After some minor repairs and a bit of refreshing, it went to Ukraine, to Cherson, where vehicles like this are greatly needed. Instead of ending its story in our yard, it went on to serve further — this time in a place where it was truly needed.
We, however, decided to purchase a car that, although it is not a 7–9-passenger vehicle, fits our current needs very well. It is a spacious car in which the five of us can travel comfortably, with plenty of room for luggage as well.
From the very first weeks, we could see just how much we needed this car. We are deeply grateful to God that, at the right time, He opened this opportunity for us. We are also thankful to everyone who helped make this purchase possible.
Thank you for your prayers, support, and for standing with us in this ministry.
Youth Meeting
Barbecue Fellowship
We ended the school year with a barbecue fellowship and an evening around the campfire. It was a time not only for rest and conversation, but also for looking back with gratitude on the past months. We sat together, sang a few songs, and had the opportunity to reflect on what we had experienced — at school, in the church, and during our youth meetings.
We talked about how God had led us through this time, how He helped the young people face exams, assignments, and various challenges, and also about what we were able to do together over the past year.
It was a good evening — full of gratitude for all that is behind us, and full of hope for the coming year and for everything God has prepared for us ahead.
Garden Work
There is quite a bit of greenery around our church, and it requires regular care — mowing the grass, trimming shrubs, tidying flower beds, and looking after the entire property. Asia devotes a lot of time to this work and does it with great dedication.
We want the area around the church to be well cared for because it is the first thing people see when they visit us for the first time. Before someone even enters the building, they see the grounds around it — and that already says a lot about the place and the people who care for it. We want it to be clean, neat, and welcoming, but most of all, we want everyone to feel that they are expected and warmly received here.
This is one of those quiet, everyday tasks that can easily go unnoticed when everything looks good. And yet it is precisely these kinds of details that help create the atmosphere of a place and allow people to feel comfortable and at ease there.
Sometimes Things Break
My ministry is not only made up of typical pastoral tasks such as preaching, meetings, and conversations with people. Sometimes it also means taking apart a washing machine and trying to find out why it suddenly stopped working.
This time, the problem turned out to be the drum seal in our church washing machine. It had worn through in several places and needed to be replaced.
When there is no specialist nearby who can come and take care of the repair, all that is left is to roll up your sleeves and try to do it yourself.
It may not be the most spiritual part of our ministry, but these everyday matters are part of it too. Sometimes building the Church looks just like this — ordinary, practical, and without big words.
Working Together
While preparing for a wedding that took place in our church, I was setting up a large tent together with several of the young men. At first glance, it was simply physical work, but for me it carried something very meaningful.
Several men, different personalities and experiences, and one clear task ahead of us that had to be done together. No big speeches — we simply worked side by side, helped one another, and prepared the space for an important event.
I value moments like this very much, because it is often in simple situations that relationships are built and a sense of responsibility for one another grows. We can not only meet together for church services, but also work on something side by side, see that everyone can contribute their part, and realize that together we truly can do more.
This experience was very encouraging for me. Once again, I saw that relationships among men often grow strongest when they are engaged together in a concrete project — especially when it requires a bit of effort.

AS A CHURCH, WE ARE PRAYING FOR:
Heating Coal for The Winter
Another winter and another heating season are ahead of us. Our church building is heated with eco-pea coal, so each year we need to prepare a supply of fuel in advance. This time, the need is especially urgent because we have only about 100 kg left in storage.
Fuel prices have risen significantly, and one ton currently costs about 1,800 PLN. For the entire season, we need around 10 tons, which means an expense of approximately 18,000 PLN (4 800 USD).
That is why we would like to ask you for prayer, and if anyone has the ability and desire to help, also for support toward this purchase. Heating the building is not only a matter of comfort during the winter. It is also part of caring for a building that is over one hundred years old and enables us to continue using it normally — to gather, hold worship services, meet in groups, and carry out the other activities of our church.
We are very grateful to God, because from the beginning of our ministry in Zelów we have seen how faithfully He has cared for our needs. More than once, we have experienced that when a specific challenge arises, God moves the hearts of people who are willing to carry it together with us.
We entrust this need to God as well, and we ask you to pray that we will be able to raise the funds for heating fuel before winter begins.
Thank you for caring together with us for this place and for the people who are able to gather here.
Painting The Meeting Room
Our Meeting Room is in real need of a thorough renovation of two side walls. Now that we have finally completed the roof repairs and water no longer runs down the walls when it rains, we need to remove the old plaster and install drywall. One wall has already been renovated, but the remaining walls still need significant work.
We are praying for the funds needed to paint and renew the walls of our chapel. At this point, we estimate the cost to be around 6,000 PLN.
AS A FAMILY WE PRAY FOR:
Securing Our Family
We are deeply grateful to God and to you for every gift and every prayer that has enabled us to continue serving until now. We have no shortage of thanksgiving for all that we have!
Our great desire and prayer is to continue developing the ministry in Zelów while being able to remain fully engaged in this work, without having to divide our strength and resources between ministry and other employment. We are praying that our regular support base would grow so that it can cover both of us — as a full, two-person missionary team. At the moment, we have 50% of the support we need to sustain ourselves and carry out our ministry.
We would like to ask you to join us in this prayer. If any of you feel led to increase your current support or to help us find new mission partners, we would be deeply grateful. Your involvement is not only financial — it gives us a real sense of security and enables us to focus on what God has called us to do.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
Continued Growth
As a pastor, I can see more and more clearly how much I need continued growth — not only in everyday church ministry, but also in teaching, understanding God’s Word, and preparing for what the Lord is calling me to. For more than six months, I have been studying biblical Greek through a free, one-year course. This experience has shown me how much more I can still learn and how greatly this kind of study helps me know the Bible more deeply.
I would also like to begin graduate-level theological studies in a Master of Theology program. Unfortunately, the cost of such studies is a very significant challenge for me — around 50,000 PLN (13 500 USD) for three years of study — which, with our current level of support, is beyond our reach, but not beyond God’s.
That is why I am asking you to pray that God would open the way and make it possible for me to begin these studies. I am praying for the necessary funds and for wisdom in taking the next steps. I believe this growth would not be only for me, but also for the church and for the people I am able to serve through teaching, pastoral care, and everyday presence.
